Dear Colleagues,
I am thankful to the members for bestowing the honour and distinction for electing me the President elect of Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry during 2014-15 36th AGM at Lucknow, that today I am before you as your President in Raipur during 37th ISPPD conference. It is your greatness and nobility that you have reposed confidence in my capability and elected for this prestigious assignment. I have no words to express my gratitude in language for your munificence. I take pride in conveying my thankfulness to my past Presidents and all office bearers for their efforts and endeavors who have worked very hard to lead this organization at national and global level.
Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry is a very prestigious and esteemed organization serving the nation for the betterment of children and adolescence - THE FUTURE GENERATION of the country. Initially Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry was set-up as a very small organization with meager means and limited financial resources; but owing to its great aim and object it has progressed and flourished assuming the status and dimension of multi-member organization. People take pride to be associated with ISPPD. Today Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry have attained enviable status and position amongst the dental organization. I assure you that I will come up to the expectations of my colleagues, friends and well-wishers. I shall try to excel in my performance with your kind support, love, affection, guidance and blessings.
I convey my reverence and regards to all the past presidents especially to Dr. (Mrs) Amrit Tewari and Dr. R.L. Jain who were instrumental in forming and nurturing this society and worked tirelessly for the progress and development of this specialty of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry. It was their vision that the seeds which they planted has blossomed to the present form and still growing lips and bound that we all are here today.
